The Rhythm of Storytelling:

My Cinematic Montage

Over the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of working on a wide range of film projects, narrative work, commercial pieces, music-driven visuals, and collaborations with both emerging and established talent. My new cinema reel is a culmination of that journey. It’s a curated, 15-clip montage that pulls from the projects that have shaped me as a cinematographer, director, and visual storyteller. More than just a highlight reel, it’s a reflection of the last several years of learning, experimentation, creative risk-taking, and a deepening love for the craft.

A collection of my cinematography and directing work from the last 3 years, highlighting performance, emotion, and motion-driven storytelling. Featuring Tris Ryyan, Canaan Barbery, Collin Masteller, K.S. Brooks, and Efren Ramirez.

The reel includes work where I served as Director of Photography, pieces where I was specifically brought on for my visual approach, and narrative projects that I personally wrote and directed. That combination gives the reel a unique dual identity, part showcase of my cinematography and part window into the stories I’ve been driven to tell. Each clip represents a moment of collaboration, problem-solving, and artistic discovery, moments that only happen when a team of committed people comes together to build something bigger than themselves.

I’ve been fortunate to work with an incredible group of actors whose performances bring emotional depth to the imagery. The reel features appearances by Tris Ryyan, Canaan Barbery, Collin Masteller, K.S. Brooks, and Efren Ramirez, an actor many will recognize from his long list of film and television credits. Their presence elevates every frame they inhabit. Whether it’s a subtle shift in expression, a burst of energy, or a vulnerable moment in close-up, their performances gave me material that pushed me to bring my best to the camera.

One of the elements I am most proud of in this reel is the focus on human action and emotion. Across the 15 clips, the imagery is grounded in motion, running, embracing, and reaching. These are physical expressions of internal states, and capturing them required a deep understanding of pacing, blocking, and timing. The movement is not random; it’s intentional, guided by the emotional beats of the scenes themselves. The reel is designed so the viewer feels the momentum, the tension, and the release.

The pacing of the music score played a major role in shaping the final structure. I approached the edit like a dance between audio and imagery, letting the rhythm set the tempo for the cuts while still honoring the emotional essence of each shot. Rather than showcasing clips for technical reasons alone, I chose shots based on how they made me feel when paired with the music. The result is a cinematic flow that builds, breathes, and drives forward, mirroring the journey my work has taken over the last three years.

This reel marks an important moment for me. It’s both a milestone and a launchpad, an invitation for new collaborations and an archive of the projects that helped me refine my voice. I’m proud of this collection, and I’m excited for what comes next. If my work resonates with you, I’d love for you to watch, share, and join me on the next chapter of this creative path.
